Nilus was in the middle of the time line when the great companys emerged, founded on the princible that if it could be used it would, regardless of the cost to the lower down workers, Nilus quickly caught up too the rest of the companies in existence at the time. The territory held by Nilus is a rocky and ore rich area and as such the main job of Nilus in itself is to provide the ore and metal for the other companies to work, extensive mining had lead to rickety tunnels being everywhere in Nilus and one must step carfully above or below ground for fear of a collapse making them fall down to a lower tunnel. Only one great city exsists in Nilus and is named after the company that built it, exsisting on the only bit of unmined land Nilus city is a city choked for space and therefore went upwards, full of skyscrapers where the poor are packed in like slums and plumbing exsists only on the upper levels for the rich ceo's and executives, the city is a humanitarian crisis and thats just how Nilus likes it to be. Nilus have no official army and instead resort to gorrila warfare when attacked, using the many tunnels that only they have maps too and forced suicide bombers to great effect in stopping even the most powerful warmachines.
