Danny whimpered as his face hit the dirt road outside the hotel, the fall hadn't being glamourous at all, in fact Danny had looked like an idiot. Assissted by a beagle by the name of Jenifer, the hotels owner, his luggage also left with a yell of "ass hole!" in Danny's direction. Getting up and dusting himself off disapprovingly, the hybird held his tail infront of him defensively as he grabbed his luggage. "Fine, the service sucked anyway!" he shouts back walking off towards a cafe he liked on the other part of town.

A small head poked around the corner of the hotel. She was a 6 but already knew by looking, Jenifer had thrown him out, that was the 5th this week. She watched as he made his way over to the cafe. She ran up behind him and grabed his tail a followed behind him.

(Mind if I join? I'm not sure if I should just jump in or what.)
A ghostly blue-gray figure oozed through the wall of the cafe. As if it were perfectly normal to simply walk through walls, she flounced down on a nearby booth and propped her feet up onto the table. With a dramatic sweep of her muscular biceps, she grabbed a menu, threw it in the air, caught it again and laid it open upon her legs.
Flipping through it with a casual air she commented on every single listing. "Horrible, disgusting, who would want it? Don't care, unimpressed, ick, gag me with a fork." Carelessly throwing the menu over her shoulder she quite nearly gave an unfortunate passer by a concussion.
She quickly slid her feet back down to the floor and banged her fists on the table.
"This cafe is a mockery! A mockery of a mockery! HAVE YOU NO SHAME?!" she screeched at the waiter who nearly dropped his tray.
She placed a clawed finger on her chin and lifted the other hand palm up, as she spoke again in a clear somewhat calm but quickly paced voice. "This-this is just horrible. Absolutely horrible. I would not feed this to my dog, no sir, and I am insulted. Absolutely insulted. As if I would want such filth and I would expect better."
The houndsil seemed to babble on with her rant to the now fully frightened waiter. She was shirtless, having no gender this was publicly acceptable, and with every movement her biceps, triceps, and every other cep rippled with power.

Danny smriked turning to look at the six year old and shurgging, he could see no harm in it so he walked on anyway. He arrived at the cafe just as the hounsil finished her rant, it was a scary scene, but interesting none the less, so Danny raised his camera, and a flashed filled the entire room with blinding light as it went off with a clunk. Danny smiled at everyone as they looked at him for a second in confusion before looking back at the more dangerous seeming houndsil.

It would be an understatement to say that the houndsil had noticed the flash and she wasn't too happy about it. Not at all.
Her three blue eyes clenched shut as if in pain, as she was struck by the blinding light. Jumping from her seat she stumbled backwards into a nearby table, with a horrible crash. Swinging her arms wildly to try and right herself, she showered the nearby customers with the occupant's unfinished meal. A woman screamed as her beautiful dress was soiled by a rain of boiling coffee and chocolate cake.
Finally regaining balance, the Houndsil turned around, her back towards Danny. She leaned against the table, shaking with rage, teeth barred, muscles bulging. The guy still sitting at the table just stared in shock, not daring to move.
Slowly she turned around again, spinning on her heels, to face the man who dared to photograph her. "Are you trying to kill me?" she demanded. Quick as the flash had been, she appeared before him, only inches away from his face. It all happened so fast but it seemed as though she had simply lifted her feet off the ground and glided straight at him.
A muscular arm shot out as she grabbed the fox-man's hand, camera still held within in it. She twisted it and tightened her hand into a vice-like fist, threatening to break both the camera and Danny's hand with it.

Maye let go of his tail and got in between the two. She opened her mouth to speak, yet no words came out. She was mute. Her tail flicked back and foruth and she sat down and started crying. Her natural instinct was pacismist so seeing fighting made her cry.

The houndsil, paused for a moment, the camera and Danny's hand still clenched within her closed fist. She looked down at Maye, eyes wide with surprise. Was she- crying? Peter didn't like to see people cry, unless it was purposefully inflicted upon someone deserving.
"Oh, hey now," she whispered. She released the fox-man from her twisting grasp. Slowly falling to a crouched position on her hands and feet, she bent down to sit at the mute's level.
"Don't cry," she commanded softly. Her voice was still strong and demanding, but one could tell that she was trying to show sympathy and compassion and the tone of her voice reflected this. It was not in her nature to try and comfort others, and even as she tried her words came out with difficulty. "Come on now, I'm not gonna' hurt him," she assured Maye, despite the fact that hurting Danny had been her every intention. This intention seemed lost now and Peter couldn't even remember what she had been doing anyway. She just wanted to make this mortal stop crying.

Danny smiled, he didn't like the child crying so he kept his smile hardly showing as he turned to look at her. "Yeah, she wouldn't hurt me," he says seriously, but as allways with Danny it was only a matter of time before he made a possibley tasteless joke. "I mean, after all, I can run pretty fast," it was bad, it wasn't funny but Danny laughed none the less.

Peter's ears perked up. This man had just spoken about her. "She wouldn't," were the words used. Wouldn't was as bad as couldn't and the addition of his opinion that he could run fast, suggested that he could outrun Peter. Her eyes narrowed, spurred on by the thought of a possible challenge.
"You lookin' for a fight?" she asked standing up, back straight, to tower over her competition. She exaggeratedly threw out her chest, bulging muscles rippling, in a frightening but at the same time somewhat comical way. Her ears stood straight up and her fur prickled. Her entire coat seemed to shift upwards puffing herself up to an even larger size.
She laughed and bore her teeth at him, her lips cracking and twisting into a demented smile. "Think you can outrun me, fox-boy?"

Danny stared wide eyed, he was scared now. "N-no miss," he stutters out, wondering if the waiter wanted to trade pants any time soon. He couldn't really take his eyes off the houndsil, he feared that would end badly and, forgeting Peter's species entirely, he tried to calm her the way he had done so with women since the begining of time "you know you look cute when your angry?" he ventured.

There was a moment of silence as Peter just stared at him, unsure of how to react to this. After a moment's delay she threw her head back and laughed. "Cute?" she had never gotten this reaction before. Of course, he was so full of bull but still this would make her feel almost guilty for ripping his limbs off.
Almost.
"You think that's really going to work on me?" "Yeah, I don't think so," she made a funny face with her tongue sticking out at him.

Danny frowned as it dawned on him as to why that wouldn't work. Off course it wasn't a lack of charm on his behalf, it was clearly his species holding him back, which was a pity. Not of course because Danny cared, but more because well, life was an annoyingly hard to shake habit for Danny and he planned to keep it as such, "um... can you give me a chance?"

Peter just grinned. "Give you a chance?" she asked in a playful tone. "Sure, I'll give you a chance, let's see you run." She leaned forward, nose to nose with Danny, eyes boring into his. Her facial expression was a mix of amusement, determination, and maniacal joy. Her anger seemed to have died down and now she was just taunting him. "Think you can outrun me? Go for it, you have a ten second head start," she reached out both arms to shove Danny violently in the shoulders.

Danny fell over at the push, the dirt hurt but something told him that wouldn't be the thing that would hurt the most. He was in trouble without a doubt, there was no way he could out run a houndsil so he jsut looked up at her. "Awwww come on, be nice?" he half begs.

(sorry late post) Maye let her thoughts wonder to others minds. It was of course the only way to communicate with them. :' Why is you fighting with him miss houndsil?': she questioned. Her eyes ventured to the foxy on the floor. She ran over to him and tugged lightly on his tail.
