Suki felt the warmth of the sun on her skin. She opened her eyes to see that some one had opened her curtain window. Probably one of the maids. She slowly rose out of bed and walked to her closet pulling out some baggy pants, an orange T-shirt and a skull necklace.
She ran down the long spiraling staircase to the kitchen. She stopped by the kitchen door when she heard some voices. Suki peeked into the room through a crack in the door.

The carriage headed through the streets of the city, it was odd to see the ancient whells grind along with cars and lorrys. The team of horses pulling it and a Karas from the colder parts of Aeris were the only visible aspects of the carriage. It was black and unadorned, Issabelle had aruged against this but the only thing she had managed to convince them to put on was the companys new symbol, a winged green heart, Issabelle had given up on that point. Now the carriage turned down a main lane, towards the palace, Issabelle had business with royalty, though considering what Aeris did in the company lands it would probably be a matter of shaving money off of the trade routes proposed in all honesty, the royals probably knew that too. In fact the only reason she could think why she was here rather than overseeing the greener side of Aeris, was that the royals thought she would be a pushover at her age, they were in for a big suprise.

Suki continued to listen in on what was being said. Inside the kitchen was a couple of humans. Suki didn't like humans but her parents insisted on hirering all manner of species her the staff and these two were the new chefs because the last one had had a little...accident. The maids were cleaning eggs off the ceiling for weeks.
Suki giggled when she remembered it but her laughter soon turned to confusion when she herad of of the chefs mention Aeris and the royal family. What would abig shot company want with her family?

Issabelle put on a false smile as the carriage stopped outside. Stepping out into the air the grey feline smiled as the wind tugged at her hair and dress, it was an old thing, but Aeris COs of the female variety (except uncle Nicholas, though he wasn't all there) had being using it for generations in business deals. Walking up to the front door followed by her secretary, who unlike the other companys equivilents, honestly just did paper work and appointments. She didn't seem to be phazed at all by the grandeur of it all, knocking on the door three times then sighing as she waits, be nice, she reminds herself, the more you make them like you, the more you can charge in trade tax and the more 'green' you can be, she reminds herself fiddling with her hair idley as she stood there.

Suki was walking down the hall when she heard a knock on the door. The doorman wasn't around so she decided to opne it herself. She opened it to see two stern looking business type characters. "What do you want?" Suki leaned on the door and acted like she didn't gave a d**n. Well, she didn't.

Issabelle looked down at Suki, if it weren't for her height it wouldn't have being that much of a look down. Inspite of how the old tigress behind her would complain, she decided to act her age for once, "we're here to have a dull as meeting, mind grabbing your dad?" she asks with a suprisingly well faked Lucillian accent. The tiggress shook her head wearily at her bosses back but otherwise made no effort to stop her charge, she had realised by now that there was no point trying.

"Um, sure. I'll go get him." Her accent sounded fake but Suki wasn't really bothered.
She walked down the hallway to her father's study. She peaked in through the door. "Dad, there's some one here to see you." The aging leopard was asleep at his desk. Now, Suki was a black leopard but both her parents were leopards. Humans found this strange but they didn't. Two normal leopards having a black leopard child was rare but it did happen. Many saw this as a bad omen but Suki liked her colour.
She led her father to the door and he openly greeted the two business chicks. He took them to his study and sat them down at his desk.

Issabelle smiled happily, ah, an old man, maybe he's just used to business in person, she thinks happy that it might not be ageism like normal. Shaking his hand with practiced firmness she says cheerfully "ah, morning sir, I trust your daughter didn't shake you too hard?" she asks pleasantly. It may be odd for the family that she knew who they were allready, but Issabelle liked to know who she was talking too, and that included both their sleeping habits down to their odd birth marks.

"No, no. Not at all." He leaned back in his chair and motioned for them to sit. Suki stood next to the king behind his big desk. The room was big but it was mostely filled with boring old book covered in dust that he hadn't even bothered to look at. He gave them a kind old smile. "What type of business is it that Aeris would like to conduct with Lucilla?"

Issabelle stared as she sat down, shocked at how he didn't know why she was here, hadn't he got the letter? she thinks. The tigress choose to remain standing as Issabelle opened the meeting, "well, as you may or may not know, I am here on behalf of Nilus incoporated on the subject of the trade route they wish to open between themselves are Lucilla, this route would run through my lands and as such I am here to discuss the tax that would be incurred in moving their ore through my land," she explains in one large breath, taking in another as she finished, clearly out of breath as she huffed and puffed, she may be a CO but some bits off business were designed for her to never do well, speeches being one of them. She smiled as she recovered staring at the leopard opposite her with eyes that, while not uncomftable, were practiced at making it hard to look and think elsewhere.

"Sounds like an idea. A trade route could mean more business for us. Hmm. We're having a good old fashioned ball tonight and I'd like to invite you and your assitant here. It'll give us a chance to talk more about the deal and you can learn more about Lucilla but I'm very busy at the moment so I must really be leaving. There's a hotel not far from here you can stay at until tonight. Why don't you show these nice people around Lucilla for a while, Suki, before the ball? I think it's a splendid idea. Well, I'm off." He clapped his hands together and left Suki with the two of them. She didn't think it was splendid at all. She sighed and rubbed her eyes. "Fine. The old man has spoken. Anything in particular you to wanna see or do?"

Issabelle blinked, that was quick, she didn't even a chance to answer as the leopard left her! Looking at Suki with a grin, she remembered when she was like that about business and geusts, they used to annoy her and now she had to be personal, and annoyed. She smirked dissmissing the tigress with a wave of a hand, they knew which hotel they planned to stay at anyways, COs had to have the biggest in the city to save face and so they had the biggest and most expensive room natrually. Turning back to Suki and smirking, "um... any sights?" she asks checking that the tigress wasn't listening at the door before saying, "and a change off clothes?"

"There's a historic statue in the twon square of a very famous warrior and king. My great great grandfather. We should go see that too and as for clothes...I'll see what I have. Come to my room." Suki seemed bored by the whole thing but led the young cat to her room and walked rightpast the tigress, ignoring her completely.

The tigress sighed, ever since the accident she had being sort off like a mother and she wasn't happy with having to leave Issabelle alone in this place but did it anyways, she knew about Issabelles actual tastes and it wouldn't do her any harm to 'hang out' as they said with someone her own age. Issabelle smiled following Suki, the height difference may be an issue in finding clothes, but it would be better than the stares her familys dress got her at any rate, "hey, maybe not the monument, more..." she says as her stomach rumbles, "food based?"

"Sure. I hate that dumb ass statue anyway." She clutched her hands into fists as she thought about it. She REALLY hated that statue but the king loved it and insisted every new comer to the kingdom saw it.
Suki opened the door to her room. There wasn't much in it. A king sized bed with black sheets, a wardrobe and a big TV with different video game consules next to it. There wasa bookshelf too but it was filled with games instead of book. She opened her wardrobe to see if she ahd anythign to the cats liking. "What ya wanna wear? I ain't got no dresses. Sorry."
