Issabelle nodded, "my job is about appearances, I'm going to the ball," she says firmly as she steps forwards on decent feet, not wobbling at all, "and you know if I ask your mother your wearing a dress," she half threatens with a giggle. Issabelle may be a teenager, but she knew all the adult threats by heart.

"If you insist." Suki sighed when her mother came in. "Oh, my. Should you really be up this soon, Dear? You aren't well. You should lie down or at least come back to the castle to rest or take a nap. That's it! You're satying at our place for the night. No arguing with it. We have our own personal doctor who is always on call so you'll be perfectly safe." Suki shook her head. Her parents changed the subject far too quickly.

Issabelle smiled at Suki's mother, "well.. if you insist," she says with a smile. "though I still wish to attend the ball," she says firmly adding on the end, "was my mo... I mean Mary informed of my condition?" she asks hoping to high heavens that Mary hadn't really, the tigress was high strung enough in foreign countries. That and I almost called her mother, she thinks angry at herself, Mary was kind and caring, but not her mother, must be lack of oxygen she hopes to herself.

"Who's Mary?" Suki nearly smacked herself. Her mom hadn't even known about Issabeel coming. How would she have known about Mary? "I doubt Mary has been told about what happened but she will be later. I think we should leave. Don't ya think so, Ma?" The queen looked a bit concerned but nodded her head all the same.

Issabelle blinked, off course the queen didn't know, so provided she turned up to the ball it'd be fine. "Its okay," she says with a cheery smile tilting her head jokingly, "and yes, we best be heading back if we want to be ready," the feline says glancing up at the hospital clock, "out of these clothes," she adds happily.

They were quickly taken back to the castle in the ambulance again. The doctors didn't like the idea of Issabelle going back so soon but she insisted. The doorman was there again this time when the door was opened. Suki would try her best not to dash in front of Issabelle this time.

Issabelle twiddled her thumbs the whole way back, why had she called Mary mother? she thinks irratably, must have just being seeing Suki and her mum, she tells herself, it was a lie really but she ignored that fact. Walking up to Suki's room nervously she smiled as she reached the top, opening the door to show her mothers dress where she had left it, "it'll be good to look proper, hey Suki?" she asks forgeting that Suki didn't exactly like dresses.

"Yeah. I guess." Suki wasn't really into the whol dress thing so have shived hers way in the back of her wardrobe. She pulled it out and showed it to Issabelle. It looked kinda goth and had a vampire princess fell to it but it was the only kind of dress she would wear. "What ya think, Champ?"

Issabelle looked at the dress with an odd look, she didn't dislike stuff like that, she jsut wished people didn't feel the need to wear it. She smiled "if you want," she says turning round to pick up her mothers dress, old victorian, and with the blue dye faded on it, it was a sore sight, but Issabelle wouldn't wear anything else, she held it up to her face like a baby holds its blanket for a second, not for the first time trying to convince herself that she could smell her mother on it before looking to Suki, "turn around," she asks politely, just like last time, Issabelle planned to have some privacy.

"Why? We're both girls here. At least I was when I checked in the shower last night. You should'nt be so shy, Issabelle." Suki took her top off just to prove a point. She was wearing a bra but it was old and faded just like Issabelle's dress. It was alos too small and uncomfortable but Suki refused to go 'unmentionable' shopping again with her mother.

Issabelle blushed, she really really valued her privacy in all honesty. Glancing at any thing but Suki she mumbles out, "well, just tolerate me being old fashioned," she asks just audiable. It was true, she probably seemed like a right prude right now, but that doesn't mean she planned to stop acting like one at all.

"Something tells me you've never gotten laid." Suki turned around and continued to get dressed not really caring if Issabelle saw her was offended by the comment. She got changed quickly and slipped on the dress.

Issabelle gasped, she may not be the best at grasping slang, no matter how hard she tried too, but she knew what that meant. Suki was right of course, but it wasn't something to say really, for once Issabelle decided not to retaliate but instead just took off her clothes and started to change, "fine then, happy?" she says slightly angry.

Suki turned around and stared at Issabelle. She was kinda hot and Suki couldn't help but stare at her rack. She grinned before turing away. "You'd make a much better princess than me. I'm not really good at being fancy and polite but ya'll seem to got it down."

Issabelle smiled pulling the dress round her body with practiced ease, "thank you," she says not noticing the stares, knowing her she probably had noticed and was just trying not too, didn't stop her blushing though. "Comes with the job I suppose," she says calmly as she turns around and lifts up her hair to show the strings to do up the dress, "would you?" she asks looking behind herself.
