[Still a WIP]
Name: Cedric VanNorstrand (Also goes by "Mr. Smith" as an alias in some areas.)
Age: Absolutely ancient
Apparent Age: 45-50
Gender: N/A (definitely a male mind, though)
Species: Houndsil
Sexuality: Asexual
Occupation: Usually bothers world leaders, important CEOs, that sort of thing. Actually helps on quite often an occasion, valued though feared.
Appearance:
A phantasmic wolf. He has subdued, blue-grey-blue fur, and grey-blue eyes with just a hint of blue. He has the look of... well... a father from some 50's TV show, you might say.
He wears a neat suit, has neat combed back hair, actually wears this pair of typical round 50s glasses when he needs to read (although he obviously doesn't need them,) and smokes a pipe. It's thought he aims for a certain image.
He also wears a long coat at times.
He has been known to dress completely differently - for example, adopting a Victorain style of dress when in Nilus.
Personality:
Cedric is best described as a businessman of many years.
If you imagine that, add a huge dose of cynicism, an unhealth dose of sarcasm and sardonism, and a pinch of sadism, you get Cedric. He's an old grump with no sense of humor and definite views. His behavior, though, is much more refined than that of almost any other Houndsil in existence. Petty mischief is quite below him. What's not below him, though, is helping someone (imparting his wisdom to mortals) or bringing down a multibillion dollar corporation or Company. He is capable of doing both, but whether or not he really does either is a question which dives into the realms of semantics.
Some say a blessing from a Houndsil is also a curse, and it is that way with Cedric.
He actually has quite the optimistic outlook on life, despite all other appearances. This is probably because he doesn't give a hoot about anyone else, though.
History:
Cedric has an immensely long history. He has, however, made sure that there are few written records of himself. He has favored the Company Lands in the past, but has been found all over the world.
He is known, though, in many upper circles as a Houndsil who can be trusted more than the other. He's helped many companies, but has also been rumored to have orchestrated the downfall of many. Some of the more catastrophic events of the past have been pinned on him - like the collapse of the Company Territory of Mordania many years ago - although these claims are more than likely false. They likely just use him as a good explanation given his importance. Cedric thinks this highly humorous and is immensly tickled.
Weapon:
Cedric can almost always find a way out of situations with his tongue. If not, his ghostly powers are so mastered that he would have no trouble escaping - be it in violent or nonviolent ways.
